Before Midnight

Before Midnight is a different kind of game — the only way to play is with your voice.
Use commands like “Walk / Go” to move, “Jump / Dash” to leap forward, “Left / Right” to change direction, and “Fire” / “Take” for specific actions.

Your mission is simple… or maybe not: save 3 cats before time runs out.
If you succeed, you’ll reach the place you’re meant to be. If you fail… well, no one has ever returned to tell the story.

This game was created in less than two weeks for the Finish Your Game Jam.
It’s my first game made in Godot, with all sprites drawn by me in Aseprite, and original music composed in FL Studio.
Sound effects and ambient audio come from wonderful creators on FreeSound.

I hope you enjoy this unusual experience.
I’ll be making a few improvements soon, and I plan to upload devlogs about the entire creation process.
